Tours 1030am and 2pm every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday - events permitting.
Tip 1 If you take the Walk and Ride 'bus to get up and down Steep Hill - service is changing. I will update once I know what is happening this year.
Tip 2 We often notice that visitors read the sign boards at the entrance to the Cathedral and turn away as they do not want to pay the entrance fee of £8 or £6.40 concessions As the entrance desk is away from the door we urge you to go into the Cathedral to give yourself a 'wow' moment when gazing down the nave and it also gives you the opportunity to visit the Cathedral shop.
Tip3. If you want to go on a Cathedral roof or tower tour the charge is £4 make sure you get your name down early as only 14 persons can be taken on a tour.
Tower tours only operate on a Saturday in the season.
Also be aware the Cathedral have one tour on a Sunday at 2pm at a cost of £4. Sunday services will restrict access to parts of the building.
Tip 4 Lincoln Castle opened 1 April 2015 and this is a world class site. It is £12 for an all inclusive visit which includes a return visit within 6 months or you can buy a Joint Cathedral/Castle ticket for £16 - a £4 saving.
Tip 5 The Bishops Palace is open Saturday and Sunday only during the winter months - 31st October 2016 - 31 March 2017
